What he is trying to say is that you can have a steak at Mortons at many locations around the country. St. Elmo's is one of a kind. Everybody who is anybody who comes to Indy eats at St. Elmo including most race drivers and owners sometime during the month. NO down grade on Mortons but it is a chain and St Elmo is a one of a kind place that has been in business at the same location for 110 years.
btw, If St Elmo is too rich for your blood, try the Iron Skillet. Simple menu served family style on w 30th street. Nice people too.
