i hope that didn't sound harsh, that wasn't my intent. just saying that texting is kind of a way kids communicate these days. again, i agree they do it a bit much but you can even use that as a way to teach your kid moderation and following rules. we used to be on tmobile and it was 9.99 to add a line for my daughter and then a few bucks more to add unlimited texting for her. we only got the unlimited because her friends would always text her and push her over her limit. we're not on tmobile anymore but like someone else said, that price is pretty normal for all carriers. maybe the tmobile person you talked to made a mistake?
