You mean Jenna Fryer, the respected AP reporter? As a "chick", I can tell you that's kinda tacky to refer to someone like that...it bothers me, cause I don't like to be referred to that way. 
And no, Tony was one who kept his mouth shut, as you really can't defend the completely indefensible.
The past year, since his divorce, Kurt has been completely out of control He's in his mid-30's, so its not like he's going to grow out of it. I personally don't enjoy watching someone commit career suicide, but that's what's playing out right now. I hope, for his sake, that someone can get through to him. No one says he had to answer the question, but after 12 years of media training, 6 of those with the Penske organization, he should have a stock answer for a question he finds annoying and/or stupid - and no, that stock answer does not involve telling the reporter he's lucky he doesn't beat the stuffing out of him. "No" and walk away works just fine. "I'm not answering that" doesn't get you suspended. Neither does "no comment".
It's not what he said, it's how he said it. I'm sure Monster is thrilled they dumped a fan friendly driver like Ricky Carmichael for this...
