I reread my last post said something a little harsh that I suspect reads here will have an issue with. Dr. Jerry Punch is a very smart doctor that for years did a great job reporting on nascar medical issues. He was also did an alright job as pit reporter when his medical knowledge was not being needed by ESPN. However, Dr. Jerry Punch is now the primary pit reporter getting first crack at the top interviews post race. I suspect every driver in nascar would probably say that if they wanted to be interviewed by a reporter it would be Dr. Jerry Punch........that is not really a good thing.
Right now, I really think Jamie Little has the ability to be one of the best nascar reporters ever. However, I really wish Jamie Little had not done the sexy reporter type pictures. She listens to the drivers responses and does follow up. I could really see Jamie Little doing the follow up that Jerry Punch missed being asking something like:
"You joked about how you feel like you cannot pick your nose without nascar watching you, but are you really having to change your driving style on the track because of the nascar probation? Is the nascar probation hurting you and your teams ability to be successful on the track?"
