I heard a better one last night on the "Wind Tunnel" on SPEED TV, and that's Dodge to Robby Gordon Motorsports. Robby was on there last night, and Dave Despain brought up the rumor, and Robby wouldn't say yes or no, and he wouldn't even admit he has talked to Dodge, but he did say unlike Andretti Motorsports and Richard Petty Motorsports he has a shop where he has an engine program and builds his own cars. Robby went on to say what he currently has set up right now there's only a very limited teams in NASCAR like Roush and Hendricks that had what he has.
Out of curiosity I looked up Robby's net worth, and Forbes has him listed at $50 million which makes him worth more than most drivers with the exception of Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart and Dale JR. For an example they have Jimmie Johnson listed at $40 million, Matt Kenseth at $22 million, Kevin Harvick at $30 million, Kyle Busch at $40 million, Kurt Busch at $25 million, Denny Hamlin at $30 million, and Ryan Newman at $950,000.00 (does that make sense?). Just in case you're curious they have Tony Stewart at $70 million, Dale JR. at $300 million, and Jeff Gordon at $150 million, and they have Kasey Kahne the same as Robby Gordon at $50 million. They didn't have some drivers listed like Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle listed, but what I did get a kick out of is they had Burney Lamar listed at $10 million. I guess it pays to marry a super model, Niki Taylor.
