Why should the NBA raise the age to 21? The age should 18, and why have to wait one year after graduating from high school. These rules are ruining college basketball. If the kid's an legal adult, 18, he should be able to sign a contract with a NBA team. Quit forcing these kids to go to college or to play in Europe for a year. The coaches of the big college teams hate the rule where the kids can't play in the NBA for one year after graduating. They bend over backwards to get these kids to their college, and they're gone a year later, and if you were good enough to play in NBA would you want to be forced to play in college or in Europe for 3 or 4 years risking career ending injury? That's what they're up against if they raise the age to 21. Doesn't make any sense what so ever.
