Here's the million dollar question. Let's take Sam Hornish out of the equation. Heaven forbid, but let's say Sam's walking through the pit area and slips on some oil, and breaks his leg, and can not drive the #22 car (strictly hypothetically).
Now let's say your Roger Penske. What one driver do you try to put in the car?
What's your opinion of Casey Mears? Would trying to get Casey away from Germain Racing be an option? Who would blame Casey for leaving Germain to go to Penske?
Another driver I keep thinking about is Regan Smith. THat kid seems like he gets so much out of the car that low budget team gives him he should have an oppurtuninty with another team like Penske. I know he was at DEI for awhile, but let's face it. DEI wasn't on the top of their game when Regan drove for them, and he even got a win DEI that NASCAR took away from him.
