honestly, the problem is the level of quality and professionalism in nascar seats and on the pitbox nowdays.
these teams all know that they race to advertise for their sponsors. they are too smart to mess their cars up trying to race too hard and they have learned to ride to one extent or another til late in the race.
all the drivers are mark martin's now. if a guy is faster, let him go.
if you let the teams have more control over the performance of the car, you will end up with more of what you saw yesterday. not more dicing and passing.
