I would rather see more than 1 tire manufacturer then having mandatory tire compound use. Hoosier was putting the hurt on Goodyear and they bullied nascoar into forcing them out. They need to allow teams to find their own supplier and lock that team and supplier for the season. Get rid of that stupid top 35 and get back to the fastest 43 or go home. The more I look at the cars, the more they seem to be following the NHRA funny cars to see which one will be the narrowest car. Widen the cars by a foot. When you start to look at the wheelbase and width and height, cup cars are not much different is size to Indycar. Get rid of the limits on shock and springs and put in a hard rule on prerace ride height and post race ride height and be done with it. Wasn't it a breath of fresh air to see how good the racing is in Indycar with the removal of downforce? Maybe cup should do the same.
