came in from "sweating profusely" outside doing yardwork since 8-ish, grabbed a frosty malt-themed beverage & scooped up the remote, "hmmmm, nothing, nothing, some dorkfish reality-TV-crapola, HEY, the something-or-other race from Mid America Ohio, that'll do.." now, I just thought this was the fancy-pants name they slapped on the Indy car race, not the case, Sparky! I've never seen this circuit before, to toss a drag-racing metaphore on it, it was like seeing Pro Mods for the first time, they are all goofy-looking, & totally different from one another, the show was in its final twenty minutes, but I was very much entertained, the diversity was, as the phrase goes, OFF THE HOOK!! here comes a guy, "hey, that was a Viper, I know what that is" then another, "duh, not a clue" (announcer then sez theres only 2 in the world, so I get an 'I-Pass' on that one) here comes a deal, looks like a 2-seater Indy-car, then ZOOM, man, I think I had that Matchbox when I was a lad.......if these guys came to Elkhart Lake, & the tix were dirt, I'd go, very entertaining.................the announcers, not too good, I'm watching, & I see a huge cloud of dust, they keep chattering away, I'm going "uh, I THINK someone wrecked, guys...." 7-8-9-10, "uh-oh, someones in the wall!!" hey, thanks for putting the Guiness down long enuf to call the race, Slick!! yea, someones stuffed into the tires, and you know, they seemed to have a pretty good gate for this deal as well...
