Craig, the Rae's lived in a real beat-up house either next to, or one house down from where The O'Brien's lived. When I was young, I referred to them as the "Mole People", because they all had dark greasy hair, pale skin, and thin facial features that kind of came to a point. I remember being afraid of them and intrigued at the same time, because I often wondered how they lived inside that increpid house. How's the birding expeditions going, by the way? Ever been to St. George Island off the panhandle of Florida? I've been there in the summer, but have read that it's a bird watcher's paradise in November as the migration from the north is in full swing. Every year I tell myself I'm going to load up my dog and drive down there for a week over Thanksgiving.......maybe this year will be the year??????????
