All these years and I never knew you were a member of the "brotherhood of cranky teachers"!!! Mrs. Switzenberg scared the crap out of me from day one, and when she told the class that NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO MOVE FROM THEIR SEAT (we were taking one of those really serious Weekly Reader tests), I took her at face value! I must have kissed Craig on a dare--sorry my dear, but I really don't remember that--I didn't smoke too much dope in college like Julie, so my memory is fairly intact! I DO remember kissing Billy Zahn at his going away party. They lived in the house across from Faith Lutheran, and it was a sad day for most of us little girls. Another memory that keeps coming back to me, aside from Craig positioning that pencil, is Brenda? sliding down the banister and getting a sliver the size of a banana caught in thigh! Pretty impressive! Julie had mentioned Peggy. When I last saw Connie Byrnes who was catering a wedding, she told me that Peg had taken in her grandchildren because of their mother's drug abuse, and was raising them--how awesome and exhausting is that! I agree that a 40th would be great. If that can't happen, maybe just setting aside a night to get together over pizza and beer and just be entertained by Keith and Craig (even though he defected to RL). I also have heard from Tracy Youngberg and as soon as I can locate her address, I'll pass it along.
