My dear blonde, intellectual, creative old friend Jean..... I'm sitting here at the computer with a yummy cocktail with a CD of The Beatles Anthology playing in the backround. These writings have conjured up so many memories that I thought gone (some are!). You were afraid of Mrs. Switzeberg?? I concur with Keith and Craig, and I am sure my sister as well, that she was a gem. Do you remember the time that I hid your coat in a desk? God, that was traumatic! Here you were sitting in for recess because you couldn't find your coat. When it was found in a desk (whose?),I lied and siad I didn't know a thing about it. I was so scared of getting in trouble. I remember fearing that Mrs. S. wouldn't like me for the rest of the year. I remember you seemed mystified by the whole ordeal.
