Posted by Craig I seem to remebmer the coat incident in grade 3. Not sure why but when you said that memories flooded back. Remember how we used to have to do "tuck and roll" drills as protection from a nuclear attack?? As if hiding under a wooden school desk was gong to keep us from getting fried by a nuke!! I used to worry at night about what it was that would cause the Ruskies to want to bomb us and, honest to god/ allah, the only thing I could come up with was the Bruenigs Brewery in Rice Lake!!! Please dont give me too much grief about leaving Cameron between grades 10 and 11. Read my mea culpa on that. I was so freaking devastated by what happened. The last thing I wanted to do was move from home but I was forced to. I'll tell you over a pitcher of beer what caused it. I still to this day consider myself a Cameron kid. I really did not want to leave. Of course bring your irreverent little sister along. She's been a freaking clown since the doctor slapped your mom for having her!! I remember her so well. What a joy she was. I'd love to sit down and talk birds with her and could for hours. When I attended the 35th Rice Lake class reunion I was a bit bummed out by how quickly all of the old cliques immediately formed again. It was not a fun situation and I will never go back to another one (despite us having the police called on us at midnight because we were all too drunk and rowdy). Maybe I'm a dreamer but I cant imagine Cameron kids being like that..... And why wait until we've been gone 40 years?? Who knows...at this age we could keel over tomorrow! I'm up for coming back to the land of green football jersey's, cheese, bratwursts and beer ANY time. Why wait until 2009?? I am going to Thailand, Burma (maybe- as I found out today- those bastards) Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam during October 20 - November 10, 2006 so I couldn't make it back home then. But any time after November 10 (dont say November 11 because I'll be braindead after 20 hours on a plane from Bangkok!!) I could come home. Let me know when. To fantasize this I would love to go to Zych's Town Pump to drink beer, eat pizza, play pool, and act like a kid again. It would be like nirvana to watch you, Nancy, and Jean Anderson bent over a pool table making a shot. I know...my bad. I'm glad you liked the reviews of book number 1. For all intents and purposes, I'm the Cameron kid who published a book - especially since Ms Anderson/Havenor wont have her kids in RL HS read my book in lit class. You can doubly count me as a Cameron kid author when Book number 2 comes out. And as far as the reviews...I honest to god/allah dont know who that last person was who skewered the book. She was too eloquent to be my ex wife ....so who knows. Any way, let me know. I emailed you through your Arizona property website so you have my email address. Lets keep in touch and arrange a beer/pizza/ pool night....just the five of us or more if we can drag them out. Craig

Well Julie...it could have been ANY male interested in Brenda's sliver. Or anything else that was related to Brenda for that matter. Look earlier at my mea culpa about her in Mrs Hooples class.
