I couldn't agree more, Jean. Sadly, I can't think of one teacher durng high school that made much of an impact on me, educationally. Although, part of that may have been due to my immaturity to attend to what was being presented. I really honed my ability to look like I was paying attention when I was really totally lost in thoughts of teen issues. I remember once, while I was practicing that art, Mort called on me. I had absolutely no idea what he had asked me. Talk about being embarrassed.....especially in front of someone that we all had crushes on. He WAS a good teacher; too bad I didn't become interested in history until much later.
