Even though this web site is dedicated to former as well as present Cameronites, I'd like to recommend a book that features New Auburn and its residents: Population 485 - Meeting Your Neighbors One Siren at a Time, by Michael Perry. Anyone who grew up in a small town in Wisconsin will appreciate it. He has also just released Truck: A Love Story. Today he was a guest on Michael Feldman's PBS radio show Whaddya Know? and was just hilarious in relating some of the stories from that book. Craig Faanes, if you are out there check it out.
