I just talked with Peggy (Thompson) Paulus who informed me that our classmate Steve Erickson died of bladder cancer last night, Friday, December 21. I don't think there is anyone who didn't like Steve, a bear of a man, who was always laughing about something. Peggy told me that right up until the end he was joking with his family, trying to make them feel comfortable.
His funeral will be in Cameron at the Faith Lutheran Church at 7 PM on Friday the 28th of December. Visitation will precede the funeral from 5-7 PM at the church.
Rest in peace, Steve. You will be missed by many.
