Hi all... I was sent this website by someone who had no idea that I knew about Cameron. I was not from Cameron.. but as a child, I slept many an hour under the pew at Pleasant Plain Gospel Church... In fact, when it came time to me getting married, I got married there... I remember the Pic-a-chic (and I was sitting here trying to remember who ran it), I remember the crossroads restaurant, and seems like there was another restaurant on hwy 53 also, hmmm.. perhaps ran for a while by the Fletchers, but I am not positive. There was also a stereo and tv dealer who was a Grundig distributor.. and I remember my parents buying a couple of stereos from him, a reel to reel tape recorder, and a tv or two from him.
