Hey Bob! Don't recall exactly where you lived but think it was a block south of Stan Olson's and on west side of street,(across from older couple, Clint & Gladys Grey). Believe John Anderson(?) lived in same house before you moved in. If I got that right, then seem to recall one of the Snively boys getting a new bike. Excited, but not able yet to ride, remember him happily hanging onto bars as he proudly ran around the block! What you called the Cameron Permit Store was known simply as the Drugstore to my generation. Surprised others haven't commented earlier on Drugstore as, aside from school, probably holds more fond memories than any other building in Cameron. Very popular lunchhour and after school hangout. You paint a fairly accurate picture from what I remember. Is there anybody who hungout at the Drugstore that didn't leave at least one wad of gum under the counter? They made the best damn malts and shakes ever! I miss the old Drugstore. Thanks for painting your memory. You touched a chord. By the way, anybody remember Doc Seargant? He was the dentist above the Cameron Bank.
