Kinetic Cipher, the original, was one of the first RM2K games I've ever played, along with A Blurred Line, Elcothied, Phylomortis 2, and (of course) Shichi and the two LeGends. It was partially responsible for shaping my overall impressions and opinions of RM2K, and deserves its rightful place in amateur RPG history. I honestly didn't know the KC legacy was carried on through all these years, and made the switch from RM2K to RM2K3, but I'll give it a try.
: It's a game called Kinetic Cipher Again, and
: it's for RPG Maker 2003.
:
: I'm telling you about it not just because
: it's a good game (which has some of the
: best-designed areas in any RPG Maker game
: I've played), but because IT NEEDS ATTENTION
: BADLY. The author is thinking of quitting
: production on this game if it doesn't have a
: big enough audience. And I think it would
: be a huge shame if good fan-games like this
: were overshadowed by extremely bad fan-games
: where everyone is like "OMG, U SUK! I
: WILL KILL U!!!!!!1" and the story is
: poorly developed and there are too many
: glitches... you see where I'm going with
: this? Of course, I wasn't talking about any
: of your games... these games are good, just
: like this one.
:
: I think Brasington should support KCA, don't
: you? Spread the word! Maybe you can give a
: little shout-out to the game by putting some
: of the game's characters in Frontiers
: Extreme as cameos, perhaps?
:
: By the way, the game can be found at this
: site.
:
:
: And now, I shall descend from my soapbox,
: and see what you guys think.
