Kang, and several other characters, were most likely in scenes deleted from the film's final version. That's why I can't wait for the DVD, because the producers said there was enough additional material for two other Simpsons movies. I know that Minnie Driver and Erin Brockovich were two special guest stars whose scenes were removed from the final version.
