The PC itself was, as we've heard, fried in a power surge, but he has a friend working on assembling him a new PC, and better still, his HD and all its contents are apparently fine. He's still been talking about DW4:R on IRC, so I'm going to assume progress will be resumed once his new system is up and running. Seems this episode taught him a lesson, in that he needs to back up files more often, so this shouldn't happen again. =P Not sure why he hasn't announced this himself, but there's no need to panic just yet. =P
