Eh, I've played a bunch of games with bestiaries, and very few have ever offered any kind of reward for filling them. I think DW8, DW4 DS (well, you said it did, so...), and Shadow Hearts 1 and 2 (I don't remember if 3 does). That's... about it, though... They're more about having convenient info on the monsters than any kind of goal-oriented project, the way I see it. Especially the more detailed ones, like the ones in FF4-6 Advance. Man, those ones rule. They list just about everything, including weaknesses. Hee hee hee. Needless to say, I abused that knowledge. =P
