You know, it kind of disappoints me that I managed to write that entire blog-post-turned-cancerous without ever mentioning that. 
The Dark Spire is for the DS; the game's website is over here if you want to know what the game looks like. It should be in stores now, but note that it's an Atlus game, so it'll probably become impossible to find sooner rather than later.
Tale of the Forsaken Land is for the PS2 and is incredibly hard-to-find (though it looks like there are a couple copies on ebay?). As you've probably gathered, I strongly recommend it if you happen to run across a copy.
