"Dragon Quest V, the latest installment in Square Enix's series of DS conversions of its classic Super Famicom RPGs, may not be immediately recognizable to American gamers. While the Dragon Quest series was immensely popular in Japan, it was, for the most part, unknown to U.S. audiences throughout its early history, due to lack of translation into English. Now, however, thanks to Nintendo's apparent corporate policy of 'we must use the DS to rehash every Super Famicom game we ever released!' DQV is available for U.S. audiences."
