: and if The Guardian Legend was so
: popular...then why doesn't Nintendo make a
: version of it for the DS or something, so I
: could play it again?
:
The Guardian Legend- or Guardic Gaiden, in Japan- was made by a software company called Compile back in 1989. Perhaps the reason that it hasn't been remade is that Compile went bankrupt in 2003?
Maybe the reason that Nintendo doesn't make a remake of The Guardian Legend is that Nintendo didn't have anything to do with the development, marketing, or sales of the game besides publishing the European version.
I'm just sayin'. A couple of their other games- including the NES shooter Zanac and the Genesis shooter MUSHA have appeared on the Virtual Console, so maybe there's hope for it yet.
: What really pisses me off is the way
: Nintendo seems to REFUSE to cater to the
: old-schoolers like me out there.
Seriously, have you even looked on the Virtual Console?
