Granted, the story pushes you very hard in Bianca's direction, but the level 1/crappy combat thing isn't that big a deal... Low-level characters catch up pretty quickly and you can always leave her in the wagon.
That's interesting about the T&T tickets- I'll be stockpiling them, I guess.
