So who are you to tell anyone who's hanky he's worthy to hold? I didn't say I was better or worse, I just said he sounded bad this week.
You're really preoccupied with gauging and comparing who you think is better or worse, ignorant, smarter, more or less successful and other criteria. Whether me or some sales guy who you think is beneath you.
You look at the letters after your name and tell people youre better because you've sold more time than they have.
Sounds to me very much like a guy who has some serious self esteem problems. If you'd quit trying to prove yourself agaisnt others, no one would have noticed.
There's a lot of bandwidth out here on the internet, plenty of room for everyone. I suppose if you felt you aren't getting enough recognition or a bright enough spotlight, you can take it up with your Internet Service Provider.
Understand, I was completely blindsided that so much of the hateful petty shit directed towards me was actually from you in drag. Here I thought so much better of you until you finally revealed yourself under your regular handle. Now a lot fits.
But understand, its just a msg room in a dying industry, now with a half dozen msg rooms, all of which require at least a login to eliminate the graffiti.
Virtually note of the serious radio people write in here except when someone dies. They can't anyway for reasons we all know well. So there we are.
Foodfight. I'm okay with it, I got old bluejeans. ANd if someone still posts Jerry's stuff or some politics, fine, I'll read and play.
When people are talkin about music formats and such, I'll leave those threads to the others who have anger to resolve.
My interest in the purity of this room has left me simply because I've finally realized that local radio has lost its critical mass, but for a couple of good operations which I still listen to.
MOre and more though, its NPR.
