Thanks for not mentioning RMAN like you often do... maybe this thread will last a little longer.
BTW, what do you do in Cedar Rapids? Is it a pretty cool market? Are you a jock or newsman, or salesrep, or in mgt?
I've learned that markets smaller than KC can be a lot more fun. Not sure why, other than that owners and managers are more connected to their communities and their staff people are more important to both the community and to the stations they work for.
I was never impressed with working conditions in KC...but in smaller markets, it was so much better. maybe not in pay, fer sure. But in respect, ability to use your mind to develop better radio.
Markets KC's size in this corporate environment are like auto assembly, but without the union benefits.
