Two points I want to make:
(1) I highly doubt that Kelly is coming back to radio because he's broke. If he were, he never would have left what he had with WILKS to begin with. Rumor has it that he had come into money, and wanted to try something different. Running internet radio doesn't cost nearly 1/100th of what it costs to run a terrestrial station in a market like this. Most likely he's found out that internet radio just wasn't as exciting as he thought it would be. Going from only have a few stations that you really compete with, to having THOUSANDS is a big change. He'll keep his internet station as a hobby, and just work with Entercom for fun and to really connect to a local audience again.
(2) Smaller markets ARE a lot more fun. Working with a smaller group of people, whom you know each by name, makes it more of a fun "family." You'll generally always know what's going on within the company, and you can really be friends. If you REALLY enjoy doing radio, the salary doesn't matter... and that's a good thing because you won't have a big salary in a small market.
