Would you prefer we called the guy "John Smith" all night long. His name is what it is, as are his hard core beliefs. I am tired of the PC/BS connection and, as it is, this is pretty rich coming from a guy who hasn't seen the business end of a microphone (or his brainengagemouth section) in more than a decade.
White racism- Greg, seriously, dude you have a real problem and it's not the lack of being in the business. The "reputable" news outfits you ascribe to are quoting people as saying this guy yelled " Allah Ahkbar" when he started shooting. I missed than in Church this week. Isn't that a call to Muslims? The guy wanted out of the Army intead of following orders and this guy was a COMMAND OFFICER, not some knucklehead private. He KNOWS THE STRUCTURE..YOU FOLLOW ORDERS. His postings online discuss suicide bombings. The feds were watching him. Gee, I guess he might be trouble. He's a desk jockey, not near combat, so PTSD is out. He is a real problem, and this needs to be discussed out in the open, straight on, and if you don't like it, tough, I want more. I am tired of NPR or PBS or looney left types on the mainstream media staying off the third rail of talking about who and who SHOULD NOT be in the military. It's all volunteer, therefore, keep the troubled types out or muster them out ASAP.
But, of course, Greg, it's all George Bush's fault for that damned war (kinda like the guy beating up Forrest Gump's girlfriend-"I can't help it.. it's that damned Lyndon Johnson and his war!! He makes me so mad!!")
I want more, and I want it straightforward, and if you want to pickle your brain with Keith Olberman, knock yourself out.
