Thanks for all of your help Paul. I tried a ton of those VIN decoders on the net. I, like you, didn't think that an 81 l 82 existed. A tree fell on the poor vette and I am trying to part it out. The car is actually in Atlanta and I am in Tuscaloosa Al., so I dont have the car available. I do know that on one of the inner doors, it is stamped Nov. 1980 I am not 100% certain it's the original door, but I can't tell that it's been replaced. Im going to get the car in a week and I'll get the VIN off it then. What is a good source to part the car out? The tree did damage to the back end of the car, so it still has tons of usable parts on it. Again Paul, thanks for all your homework!
