I own a 1979 L-82, red/blk with less than 60K original miles but 'something' happened while my ex-husband was driving it, and now the engine won't turn over. He said I need a new engine but aLL he would offer was $750 towards a 350 'truck' engine - I took the cash but don't want that engine - I'd like to restore the L-82. How much am I looking at to restore my 'baby'? If I can't get an L-82 anymore, what are my options - the car has been parked abt 2 yrs now. I'm a single mother with 2-daughters, so as you might guess I don't have a lot of extra cash to pour into it!
