I have a 1980 L-82 auto. I was planning to install a cat test pipe (just for testing purposes of course)and need to find out what jetting and timing changes would be necessary to compliment the test pipe. Also would anyone know if there would be a performance benifit to an open element air cleaner? I know they are less restrictive (and sound much better) but will I be loosing performance because the engine will no longer be drawing cool outside air? Thank you for your help.
