Posted by tony if you are not staying stock outside headers and a dual plenum intake. A holley 780 SP with a secondary metering block kit Now a great cam is something around 460 lift...275-325 hp 480... in the 350 range Match port the heads and the intake 15 - 25 hp if you are doing the bottom go with flat tops... 9-1 cr or get the pop ups... 11-1 they will come out to 9.7- 10 with stock heads the cam makes for a stahl converter problem. you can spend 50 bucks and use a vega converer and drill the fly wheel I would recommend a rv type for the above cam or maybe a 2500 if you want to spend some extra money a good gage is the 350-300 ..had 10.25 cr around 420 lift cam and was stock all around witth 1.94 heads the 350-350 had a better set of heads ...2.02 a 450 cam and a little higher cr just the 480 cam with variable duration liftes and match porting the heads and intake should have you around 300 with everything stock mess around with the rest and 400 is easy to get a good shift kit is the one that your trans guy is comfortable with
