i have a 78 vette L-82 and in the proocess of rebuilding mine in the near future. from what i have heard and read they are a four-bolt main. they also have a forged steel crank. so keep it
mine also has .202 heads,i'm sure the 79,s have also. i'm actually looking for some information on what kind of rods they have. i heard they have "pink rods" but thats just rumor and am not sure how good they are. keep in touch: Terry
