Abbie was a classmate of mine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. We graduated together in 1982. That's when I saw her last, but my memory of her is clear. Abbie was one of a handful of veterinary students who was universally liked, both by her classmates, and and the faculty members. Where she's gone, all God's creatures are happy to have her in their company. Rest in peace, Abbie.
