I remember my grandmother very fondly too.
She went thru 2 world wars, lost her husband,
was hiding our Jewish friends in the cellar
which would have cost her life if the Nazis
would have found them -
she lost her house and all her belongings but
she never lost her love and loving spirit.
We all adored our Omi.
