OK, that makes sense....at least to the level I am at (4 out of 10).
So....using that information....the reason some houses have power and
some do not just depends on which side of the 220 main line they are
hooked up to.
If they could somehow change to the good side of the 220 main line they
would have power.
And, it should mean if one did have 220 at the main circut breaker box
of their house, one could (by moving a wire or a big ass switch) connect
all the outlets to the good side of the 220....
as long as they did not hook up anything which requires 220 it should be ok.....no?
Which means that whenever you are wiring a new home you should always get 220
to the breaker box, even if you don't need it....giving the option to change to which ever side of the 220 is good.....
in situations like this afternoon...no?
