The tropical wave responsible for yesterday's
weather is still to the south but actually closer to us today. We may well get more rain this afternoon. CNA says 80% possibility of rain (although we've seen that prediction almost every day this summer) and it sure feels like more rain is on the way. Humidity is hovering in the 80% range. Winds will be variable and are not predicted to be gusty - the lack of strong afternoon wind allowed thunderstorms to build up late yesterday, so today may produce the same results. Our electicity just came back on - seems like a lot of long power outages this summer even though we've had none of the storms that usually cause them. No wind, just steady rain, but lots of lightning - maybe that's the problem. The arroyo is full of water but hasn't opened up to the ocean yet. Has anyone checked out the lagoon?
