Hello,
We are looking for volunteers to assist with the after school art and English classes for the Mexican children ages 5 to 12. This program has been gaining increasing popularity in the village, with sometimes up to 25 children arriving for the classes.
The volunteer(s) would be assisting our wonderful current volunteer teacher, Shanna. Duties will include assisting children with activities and helping set up and clean up after classes. We are looking for one or two people who can commit to help on a regular basis from now until the end of December. It would also be helpful if the volunteer(s) have prior experience working with children.
The schedule is as follows:
English Classes – M & W (3pm – 4pm)
Art Classes – T & Th (3pm – 4pm)
These programs take place in the new Educational Center, behind the Kinder.
