This is some hard news, but my admittedly limited experience in La Manzanilla the last two years tells me that the people there — the local Mexican people — will not allow this to stand. LM seems to me a town of honest, friendly folks who have no more use for robbers or thieves than do honest people anywhere. I would almost expect that the perpetrators are already in jail, or will be very soon.
