Hi Deanna,
Since you seem to be the "weather" person down there, you would find it intersesting that here in Alberta we are in the middle of our first snow storm. We have 3" on the ground and the snow is coming down so hard you cant see 50 yards ahead of you. The high for the day is -6c and its not going to warm up until the end of next week. Last year our first snow storm was around the middle of December.
So enjoy your "Beautiful sparkly" weather, I'm going home to find my long underwear and winter boots!
