Friday afternoon I was stopped outside Melaque by a Federal Police car. I knew for sure I had done nothing wrong since I had just left the gas station and slowly heading home. All they asked me for was my FM3. Luckily I had a copy in the car. I asked why I was stopped. He mumbled something about the US plates then looked at the FM3 and sticker on the windshield and said "ADIOS".
Just a reminder- Good idea to have a copy of your FM3 or Passport in the car.
