I'm looking to buy some Laser Tag gear just to try it out.
A few of the people in the office are semi interested
and we might be able to set up some lunch time games.
I don't want to invest too much money in gear at this stage.
It seems that the LTTO stuff is the best consumer gear,
but it's out of production and hard to get.
I live in Australia and most U.S.A. Ebay sellers
won't ship internationally, LTTO getting expensive and
the shipping cost is a real killer.
I was wondering how the old original WoW Lazer Tag gear
performs compared to something I can get locally at
a semi reasonable price like the new Laser Challenge P.R.O. stuff?
There seems to be a quite a bit of WoW gear on Ebay,
it's cheap and there is more chance of finding someone who will ship.
I know it doesn't have the same level of functionality as
LTTO or LC P.R.O. but I am curious how it performs as far as
range in day light conditions, reliability etc.
The Starlyte pistols look more asthetically pleasing to me
than the modern gear.
I could hold out till LTX is available in Australia, but
it seems like you need some LTTO gear to run hosted games?
I could be in for a long wait.
