Enjoy the slippery slope, dude. Kick off your shoes, lean back, and enjoy the ride!
Here are my Cliff's Notes for starting a club:
1) Always remember, it's YOUR club. It's not a democracy.
2) YOU choose the location. Find a map of parks in your city, and check them all out.
3) YOU set the date and time, and BE THERE even if no one else comes
4) ADVERTISE. It's like a business. If you're not getting new members, your club is shrinking. Put up flyers, hand out cards, invite friends, family, family of friends, etc...
Repeat 3, and 4 as needed, and 2 if needed as club grows/evolves.
Oh, and setting up a web site is part of #4, so let me know when you have one so I can link to it. ;-)
