TMB missile busted?

K. Out of the brand new box today, in went the batteries, FAM went the missile against the wall, 5 self-hits registered. Sweet! Outside, didn't work no more. I recalled during my manic reading of this awesome board that the impact sensor might be stuck. Found sensor, whapped missile per spec from TagFerret, no dice. Further advice? More whapping? The FAM against the wall was 12 pumps, not overkill. sigh.
