The next tagger from Lazer Tag will likely NOT have the ability to host games. It's a long story, but suffice it to say that LTTO taggers will probably be the only way to host games for a while, so it's a good thing that LTX can join them!
Which LTTO tagger you get is up to do. If it's mean to serve primarily as a host, then I'd recommend getting one of the IRT-2X models (we call it the Drone) off of ebay or somewhere other than Amazon. All LTTO is overpriced on Amazon because the marketplace sellers are scalping their leftovers. Anyway, pick up a Drone if you can. Barring that, then a Deluxe, and failing that, a TMB. The TMB is great, but it doesn't host any games where the host is a "base" like Own the Zone or Respawn. All the other games are ones in which the host is also a player. Not that that's a bad thing, but you might find that some people feel that the TMB will automatically win all the time because it's bigger or whatever, and therefore complain about that, or beg to be that player all the time.
In any case, as LazerBait said, ALL LTTO taggers can host games, so as long as you have one of them, you'll be able to run a custom game with scores at the end. My video, which LB linked to, has an explanation for how to do it at the end, but you'll need to watch my other video about host to host a LTTO game to learn how that side works.
