Posted by Bazookafied This morning I did some work on the FireFly with parts fitting for the massive V2 Firestorm Lens. I'm trying to figure out a good way to mount the lens in there accurately. I've had some success, but haven't officially mounted anything. I also took images of the parts that are kept from the original FireFly Rev-8 pieces. The trigger assembly, pullback reload, power supply, and on/off switch are still intact and will be used on the V2 FireFly.

Though the stock does look like is telescoping, it isn't. This gun is just two big pieces of plastic for the shell. However, it is large enough to comfortably be fired from the shoulder. It's a nice mold, something Nerf seems to be increasingly good at. If you want a better look at the gun, just follow this link. I'd suggest checking out the "Demos" link on that page to see the functionality of the Firefly. Fun little program too.
The idea got thrown around for a CQB option built into it. However, I haven't ironed out any details about it or decided on a space to put it. It would probably go in the space just above the lens. There's a lip on the top of the Gun's design it could easily fit underneath.
All N-Strike Nerf Guns have an equipment rail designed specifically for Nerf Options. I actually have my Scope Rifle's green dot scope fixed onto that rail without modifications, but my Green Dot scope's rails aren't for traditional weaver rails.
I plan on mapping this thing's construction out so that if it is a success that others would be able to do the same mod and provide a different shell for their Firestorms. And here's those pictures!
