I have been working on the same idea and in the past I have tried to fit the Firestorm lens to it. You would thing it would just drop in but it does not. Please share any ideas you have. I tried to use the revolving part to make a sleeeve to help hold it in place. I just gutted the thing. But I gave up. However, you gave me some ideas. I cannot work on them right now because the one firefly I have is too cut up to try. I think I found a way to mount a 50mm lens in there but it likes to move around a litle too much.
Overall it is a great case that gives you a sniper weapon in a very small package. Handles great and should be able to mount a good scope.
One idea I liked was just for show. On the ammo chambers there is a reflective mirror suface. Ultrabright LEDS mounted in the end look for cool and would be a interesting muzzle flash.
